definently not. is the option to switch back to speakers disabled when headphones are in? if so, the port could be the source of the problem. does anyone have any ideas asside from re-booting my os? or how to fix the port if it is the source malfuction.

I am unable to play sound from the internal speakers on my G4 powerbook. Under the sound preferences, sound output is currently set to headphones and internal speakers is no longer an option to set it to. Does anyone know how i can add this back as an option? As one would assume sound still...
