A friend of mine read somewhere about someone who overclocked his imac dv to 1000mhz and it worked fine (he probably used some sort of cooling, fan, or whatever, otherwise it'd probably burn up or just stop running) But he can't remember where he read it :(

I allready know of those hazards, and I don't use this comp for more than gaming and using hotline. The only problem I really see is the cooling bit, either have to cram in a fan or water cooling or whatever into the imac to make it cool while being overclocked...

I'm thinking of overclocking my iMac DV SE. According to http://www.bekkoame.ne.jp/~t-imai/imacde1.html it's possible to overclock it up to 1000mhz from 400mhz :) Now I'm just wondering if anyone has tried this, how stable it is and what kind of solutions for cooling that can be used to make it...
