My Finder is screwed. :/ I tried to install UNO, and everything went fine... except for the fact that my desktop isn't working. No icons appear, and I can't use it at all. I can still open Finder windows though. I've tried uninstalling it and restarting it. Any help? Thanks.

So I have a Ubuntu for PC disk and I tried to install/run it on my Virtual PC. My Compy: Mac Mini G4 w/ awful mem :( Anyway, the beginning was ok, but when it started the actual desktop and stuff, it shows a black screen that's too wide for my screen. Any help? :(

Hi peoples, I found out today that "Macintosh HD" needs repairing, so I used the Disk Util. in my Tiger disk to try to repair it. But for some reason, it will only let me verify it and not repair! Any help??? Tnx, Edshin
