when remote users log into ftp and start downloading (my ftp server is all on my 120 gig firewire drive) it REALLY distorts the sound of my computer. do you think this is a problem with A) the ftp software B) the fact that all the info is on the firewire drive ? i'm on a 667 mhz titanium 512...

this actually happened to me also. i checked through netinfo and discovered there was nothing there under users when i logged in as root! mine fixed itself after i restarted ... although i was REALLY worried for a bit. i would just restart and try to log in as one of your regular users. mine...

i'd just like to say that those of you who havent checked out this application TOTALLY should. it plays divxs WELL, in their native AVI (PC) formats, and in full screen ... so you dont need quicktime pro! thanks reiman for posting. i would never have known about this app otherwise.
