    Do you have a girlfriend/boyfriend/spouse

But that might be solved using VM.:p Or upgrading the motherboard. Does a female person have more or less RAM than a male? When I went to school here in Sweden (highschool), we had a brand new computer system with 16 terminals an an office to house the computer itself. I don't remember the...

10.1.4: This is so not funny :(

If you boot from X-install CD, you have an option to zap passwords(in one of the menus, can't remember wich). I havn't tried that myself, but it might be worth a try. /Björn

    Do you have a girlfriend/boyfriend/spouse

To earn greater insights in this, you need to look in to another deep, serious and highly techical discussion in the thread "Two funny (but unrelated) proofs". There is a watertight proof of that, as you will find out, Girls are at least in some degree evil (the discussion is not about IF girls...

    Two funny (but unrelated) proofs

...and is a Girl a boolean expression? What about true love? Is there a hidden message in this? Perhaps girls really are antimatter, so [Girl+Boy=0]? /Björn

    Two funny (but unrelated) proofs

This is getting closer, and perhaps we will find as we continue this that: [Girls > Evil] Dear mother of god! (Whoever she might be)

    Two funny (but unrelated) proofs

For all who cares the result for the first proof is not [Girls=Evil] It must be [Girls<Evil] Why? Because, as is stated "Girls require time AND money" is not [Time X Money] but [Time + Money] So the formula is [Girls=Money+Money=2Money] [Girls=2(?evil)]...

    can YOU live without Microsoft?

Yes (I guess I made the statement) and I got an iMac to my father, who's 70+ and he can get around OS X prety well by now. However, OS X still has a long way to go. We have made a giant leap BACKWARDS in terms of productivity, since many of the most essential applications are still not...

    can YOU live without Microsoft?

Microsoft (pyttemjuk in swedish, and I won't translate!) is needed as a reference point in the computer universe. I'm by no means a fan of their products, but some things they do very well. Sure, Apple has been the leading edge in innovations for a very long time now, but still the average...

    Mac OS file system help

I'm never lucky with Disk First Aid. When I have a crash it's a REAL crash and DFA never was any good. I prefer Norton Utilities or (got one of those?) the Tech Tool CD that came with my wifes iMac. /Björn

    Terminal Terminal

I have two annoying problems. After a MAJOR crash (involving Virtual PC when booted from OS 9.2 and 2 hours with mr. Norton) I can't get Terminal to work properly. If I start Terminal, it prints [Process complete] and throws me out in the blue. However, if I use /bin/tcsh everything seems...
