I finally got internet sharing going with the windows machine through the airport, but I still can;t get file sharing going .. ie samba :Z Any i info on the samba side so that the macosx and windows will talk Cheers SpaceMonkey

oh yeah I tried a normal ethernet cable as well ... same issue i think that it is the setup :(

Yeah I think he moved a lot of things. I will check out the The system-installed ones are in /System/Library/PreferencePanes. and see what he has done, might have to do a restore.... thanks for the tip, Any more advice would be great Thanks Space Monkey
