I am logged onto MacOS X as an administrative user and am trying to copy a new application into to Applications Folder of my Mac OS X disk from my Mac OS 9.1 disk. I get the following Message:
Item "xxx" cannot be moved because "yyy" cannot be modified.

I am running MacOS X on a beige PowerMacintosh G3/233 desktop with ADB.
When I let the computer sit for a while it starts repeating key strokes. There seems no way to stop it with MacOS X running. Even a restart does not seem to help.
The only other thing I tried is to unplug my keyboard...
