Well, it seems Apple products demand quality. Turns out the blank discs i was using were no good where the disc drive just spit them right out. I live in China, so easy to opt for the very cheap option on accessories. Hope this problem is over.

I was originally attempting to rip a dvd from disk utility and then burn it. It rips the dvd, i think, ok; into .cdr. I click "burn", tells me it is waiting for me to insert a blank dvd. I insert a dvd-r, blank, and the drive trys to take it for a minute or so and then just spits it back...

Was able to burn dvds and cds with perfect apple-ease but now, to my surprise, I am unable to burn a thing. I am using a Powerbook G4. Any of these two issues come up: 1. 700MB CD-R disc is said to not have enough space to hold 120 MB of info (pics, music, etc.) 2. Attempting to burn...
