Camcorder Locks up OSX iMac
I finally sucked it up and went out and got a new FireWire cable. One labeled "Apple and Sony iLink Compatible". That worked fine. The moral of the story.... Belkin cable good, Cables Unlimited cables bad. Thanks.- delgaudm

Camcorder Locks up OSX iMac
Man am I stuck. I just brought home my very fist mac this week to hook up to my new Sony camcorder (DCR-PC9). I hook the firewire from the camera to the mac, and as soon as the camera powers up, the mac locks. Only the mouse moves, nothing responds. the iMovie software reports "Camera...- delgaudm
