FCE 3.5 problems with QuickTime

Slow mounting LaCie
I've found the answer. The power unit though still visibly working appears to be underpowered and this is causing the LaCie to either spin down for no reason or fail to mount properly. I discovered this by trying the power unit from a LaCie DVD writer after which it worked immediately. I'll keep...- ashleykaryl
