I think adding the volume to my FTP shares did it, as it happened at roughly the same time as far as I can remember. I have since removed the FTP share and renamed the volume and rebooted, all to no avail. Client machine and server are both running 10.6.5.
The screenshot may explain better than I have. GRAPHICS01-01 should actually be GRAPHICS01.
How can I make it go back to its old name?
