Hello,
We are trying to install X.0 on my wifes Rev C iMac. The installer freezes every time in the same spot (33 minutes left during Write Base Files).
The disk is 6GB partioned into two equally. Both partitions required Disk Warrior for repairs before the install. Disk First Aid identified but could not resolve the problems. Now it successfully verifies the partitions. Then we did a successful sector scan and erase.
The CD was just used recently in my iBook with success. The installer warned us about firmware but all firmware upgrades we found said we are either up-to-date or unrecognizable. I am assuming I have at some point upgraded it to the latest. Does anybody know how to find the version of firmware in a computer?
I am not certain what to try next.
