10.1.2 and IrDa

I have a Ti laptop and a nokia 6210e which works fine under MacOS 9.2.2

When you dial goto dialup the mobile starts to dial but then the internet connect application comes up with disconnecting : (

This will work once and then it wont dial out you have to log out and log back in for it to try and dial back out again.

I have tried turning off all my other network connection so no airport, internal modem or Ethernet port active.

Has anyone got it to work?


Is it me or do application launch quicker under 10.1.2?

Hi,

with my Siemens mobile phone it works (finally) under 10.1.2 (TiBook 400). I just copied the modem description file from OS 9s system folder into the library/modem (something like that) folder. I had no problems. Maybe you try this with the 9 modem description rather than using the X one.
