10.1 box sighting

A local store had copies of 10.1 (not upgrade, full version) selling in the aisles last evening. I already own a copy, or I would have bought it immediately. How can this be when the upgrade is being guarded so tightly?

Also, another local Apple-supporting chain said that they already have received many copies of the 10.1 upgrade, but won't put them on shelves until Saturday.

Same thing happened with the first version of X. Some stores dont care about the release date or dont know anything of it, so they just put it out for sale. Doesnt suprise me.
