10.2.8 and Iomega

I've got this Iomega Predator CD-RW, my friend tried using it in an OS above 10.2.4 and it would not work for him. I'm in 10.2.4 right now and it works fine. My concern is if I upgrade my OS will I not be able to burn CDs using my burner? Has anybody else heard of anything like this?

It sounds computer-specific. If you have an extra drive or partition, try installing something higher than 10.2.4 there and boot off it to test your drive. I bet you it'll work.
