10.2.8 / entourage compatibility problems?

Hi

Since installing 10.2.8 I have been unable to send any messages using the settings I had under 10.2.6

Is it possible that there is a compatiblity issue here?

I've just tried setting up accounts etc. using Mail, and they send and receive fine...

The message box I get is :

Error
Mail could not be sent using the account x@z.com

Explanation
sorry, that domain isn't in my list of allowed rcpthosts (5.7.1)

Error: 5553

I'm seriously concerned I might have to make the transition to Mail so as to maintain continuity with all messages etc. (but am loathe to do so due to the inherent hassle of moving all contact details etc. out of Entourage)

Does anyone have any idea what might be causing this problem please?

Yup, Symphonix - the most recent of everything...

Anyway, after 4 hours of importing all my data from Entourage (16,000 + e-mails and just under 1,000 contacts) - crazy, perhaps - but I like to have everything in one program - it makes it much easier for me to keep track of everything I'm working on...

I tried one last time - and the F*****G F****R decided to start sending mail again out of Entourage...

It was past midnight and I was too annoyed and too tired to re-post - sorry...

So, I don't know what the problem was - I didn't do anything pro-active to fix it

but it's working again for the moment!

What a waste of time and energy...
