10.2 on an iBook G4 933?

I need 10.2 to run Stanton Final Scratch. What I'm thinking of doing is cloning a 10.2 install off my iBook G3 800 with Carbon Copy Cloner as the new iBooks will not allow you to install 10.2.

Will I just be wasting my time and money, or is it likeley to work?

I'd rather buy a new iBook than a second hand 15" PowerBook.
 
Typically, Apple's machines don't support operating systems lower than what they shipped with -- but you can try!

I would suggest re-partitioning your hard drive and making a "test" partition -- then clone 10.2 to that partition, and see if it'll boot/work. If it does/doesn't, you have your answer.
