10.3.6 Network Issue

I just ran the update as listed below:

and I lost network connection thru the ethernet. Airport still works. Unfortunately I can only access the internet thru the Airport network. I need the lan to access work files.

Any ideas

dhcp server problems. When I installed and rebooted, I requested a new ip but the server was unable to deliver.

I was mad today because I was out on a job with my laptop and found that since 10.3.6 my ethernet wasn't working either. Turns out that it changed my ethernet from "Auto" to "Manual 1000 Base-T"... which doesn't really work with 100 Base-T equipment.
