10.3.8 makes UT 2004 run like a slide show

Battlefield 1942 runs the same. XIII demo seems to be the same too. Will try UT2K4 when I reinstall it and put all the patches.
 
yup just updated to 10.3.8 and it still runs like a dream - all options maxxed. best looking game out there (possibly halo. is holo2 coming out for mac, if so, when?)
 
they have not revealed if it will be released for mac/pc. i would think not. people were not too pleased with the halo 1 port cuz it was kind of dated when it finally was released. anyway, if they decide to port it, it will probably be around the introduction of the next xbox console (since halo2 is the one major reason to get an xbox they will most likely keep it exclusive for as long as it sells).
what kind of computer do you have, Jetty?
 
it doesn't seem to have made a difference in Postal2..

haven't tried CoD..

maybe repair permissions?
 
i took out a lot of stuff that i have running at start up and it works better (still don't know why it happened right after 3.8 :-\)

irony? bungie is right up there with Adobe in "betraying" us.
stuff bungie have said:
1) we will never do a sequal. Sequals are for people with poor imagination.
2) we hate windows
3) Microsoft is the devil (or something similliar)

what bungie have done:
1) put out a sequal to nearly every game they have made.
2) Started developing for windows.
3) sold themselves to microsoft.

well i would suguest getting more ram.... for one... and what graffix card do you have?
