so i wanted to install os x.4 on my old school G4 (agp graphics) tower. I already had 10.2.8 installed so tried to do a simple upgrade ..
yeah that didn't turn out so well. wouldn't boot up after the install process, the apple turned into a (/) and I cried.
well not really.
anyway, so I load up and wipe the main drive and make two partitions (i need to have os x 10.2.8 for some software that just is incompatible with 10.3 on). tried to do a clean install. didn't work, same problem.
then decided well what If i make one partition??
bingo. the tiger purrs on in.
anyone else have similar issues, and know what the hell was going on?
