OK so i've been through the forums and havn't found any help. I just put in a new hard drive into a G4 al. Everything was fine and dandy until i tried to install OS X which had two disks. The first disk was fine worked properly blah blah. Then when it came time for disk two, the stupid, i'm sorry, not smart friendly laptop just kept ejecting it. So i tried powering up with the OG disk and c. Pram. I've tried recovery start up and so on and so on. The hard drive wasn't bad before. Did i totally mess it up? It turns on fine it just keeps asking for the second disk to complete installation. The disk is fine, and i'm clueless at this point.

This may sound crazy, but i don't think i did. . . however i'm not sure. The thing is, the hard drive is from an ibook g4. I had some friends of mine install it. i just had the simple task of putting in disks. when the computer turns on i have no other options, then to "insert disk two" i may take it to a mac repair place but i'm pretty sure they will just tell me i need a new hard drive *tear*
