17" Alumbook and 3 monitors?

Ok, well actually 2 monitors and a tv.

Here is the scenario:

The powerbook is a digital audio workstation for a film composer. In addition to the built-in 17" flat panel, I have a 20" CRT connected. It does provide an impressive amount of desktop.
Since we will be scoring film, we need to see what we are writing to, so thats where the TV comes in. But when we connect our TV to the s-video out and reboot, no signal get to the tv. When I pull the plug on the CRT and reboot the TV works so I know that is not the issue.

What can I do to get all 3 screens working?

unfortunately nothing AFAIK. I think there is just Matrox Parhelia (?) that allows 3 screen-mode. It's something like: whether vga-out or s-video as the second_video_output.

Normally any given video card can only run 2 monitors - to add the tv you would need a second video card. And being that you have a powerbook you might have a tough time. But it would be really cool. Maybe you can get a firewire video card or something wacky like that.

You could get a PCI chassis and put a PCI video card into it to run an extra card.

and how would the PCI chassis be connected to the pbook? firewire? Wouldn't this be too slow for video-output? (esspecially the latency period)
