1GB ram in iBook 14?

I hear it works, its just very expensive and you would not be covered under your warranty if something goes wrong.
 
Wouldn't apple be proud about it and announce it on the specs of the ibooks? I kinda doubt they will work. On the other hand: how much does the board differ from the current alubooks?
