Hi,
I have encountered a recent issue, I recetnly purchased a 1GB USB PEN and formatted it under OSX as a MSDOS filesystem, I am able to copy data onto it, however when I delete the data and try putting other data on the storage device, I receive an error saying there is not enough disk space.
I have tried to format the device using MACOSX Journaled which reflects the internal drive in my MiniMac, also using MSDOS (FAT32). The only way I am able to resolve the problem is to open the Disk Utility and then run 'Erase Free Space', this then resolves the issue and I can copy data to the device.
Does anyone have any ideas how I can fix this issue for good?
Thanks
D
