2 questions

[Hypernate]

a) Can I set my iMac to not sleep if the net is connected? I have it set to sleep after 20 mins, but say I leave it for half an hour downloading, I come back, and my download is half done, and cancelled, because the mac disconnected, and then slept.

b) Can I get Finder to organise the icons by kind, rather than name? I prefer to have the same types of files grouped together, rather than all done by name.

A) Not that I know of. You may want to just turn auto-sleep off and then push the power button to put it in a deep sleep when you're done every night.

B) Yes, you can organize the Finder just like a regular folder. At the desktop, go to View > Show View Options > Keep Arranged By
