A long time ago i had asked to partition my hard drive into 2 parts, a 27gig which would carry Mac OS X and Mac OS 9 and a 1 gig that would stay free for bootable to repair the main disk if i had any problems it accidentally made 3, the 27, the 1 and a 36MB is there any way to get rid of this 36MB disk? for it never to mount or to have it recombine with my 27gig or my 1gig?

with it unless you reformat!

Alternatively try asking in the Darwin forum for a Unix command that may make the volume invisible.

Too bad it's not a little bigger...then you could've just made a swap partition. You're pretty much stuck with it until you reformat again, so you could try and make use of it. Back up important documents on it...if your main partition goes to crap that one may survive...granted 36megs isn't a lot of space but plenty for text documents and the like...
