3 tries to boot up a G5 dual...

It's only happened a few times, but when I boot up first thing in the morning, the G5 will boot up, but my screens (I have 2 monitors connected) remain dark. When I boot up a second time, only one monitor is on without anything on it, and on the 3rd time, everything's ok.

Any one know what the problem is?

Run Disk Utility from the OS CD... boot from the CD, and at the installer window go to the installer menu and select Disk Utility. Have to verify and repair the drive.

If it continues, use Drive 10 or Disk Warrior to scan and repair.
 
it's a known issue. try the hardware forum or apple's forums. some glitch in graphics hardware stuff.
