32GB flash drive only half-dead - can i revive it?

i have a 32GB flash drive i used to use on both mac an PC (see my .sig for specs).

one day i pulled it out of a G5 tower, forgetting to eject it first. of course i got the "device removal" warning, but this time it seems to be warranted.

the drive does not show up on any desktop, mac or PC. however, when i open up system profiler, it is recognized as occupying the USB port. the second "USB High-Speed Bus" now has "Flash Disk" showing up. It even gives detailed info about the disk:
Flash Disk:
Version: 0.00
Bus Power (mA): 500
Speed: Up to 480 Mb/sec
Manufacturer: USB2.0
Product ID: 0x3234
Serial Number: 1000000000000B15
Vendor ID: 0x1221

the drive has an LED that blinks when mounting/reading/writing. it takes a long time to stop but it does eventually stay solid, which should mean it's fully mounted, but it's not.

neither disk utility nor diskwarrior 4.1.1 see it.

any suggestions to save it? i don't care about any lost info, i just need the drive usable.
