5g48 Update .... NOT!

Hi!

I am trying to install 5g48 on a G4 powerbook. I divided my harddrive into two partitions, one containing the installation files and one containing a new clean macosx 1.04.

I can start the installation program, but when the installation program ask me to select which harddrive to install the update on, all harddrives are faded and cant be selected. So i am not able to install and test the 5g48 update.

How sad.

Any suggestions?

they are all extended format. My guess is that when the installer program doesn't run of a CD, then it results in problem described above.

curiocity got the best of me and I installed it after for long refraining from doing so :p

Where's the DVD player ? The CD-Burner ? and more importantly where's my greek ??? dammit :p

Oh well....I head G59 is out, maybe that build fixes that lol :p

oh forgot to say that since I upgaded my modem doesnt work lol

Internet Connect tells me to check my settings but all is as it should be...oh well.. another thing for G59
