A ShairPoints intesting hint

I came across an interesting little thread about using the freeware application SharePoints and it has a hint about using the application successfully in an Active Directory environment.

Here is the post that is very interesting:

Create a new share-only user in SharePoints.
Go Into NetInfo Manager->users-> find the user you just made, and change the value "authentication_authority" from ";ShadowHash;" to ";LocalCachedUser;/Active Directory/domain_name:user_name:generateduid"

where generateduid is another field there in NetInfo Manager - just copy and paste it in.
