I'd like to know how well AppleWorks exports to Word files. Or if it does at all, since I have never tried it. 
To that end, could someone on a Mac perform this test?
Open a file, preferably word processing.
Export it to a Word document, preferably Windows compatible (I'm at work, so only have NT).
Export the same file to PDF for comparison.
Send me both files.
Also, post a note if you do send me the files -- I don't need a bazillion messages filling my inbox.
