About avi/mpeg movies

haven't come across an avi movie (divx and all) that I haven't been able to play on my Quicksilver G4. Using DivXPlayer 1.0b10, FourCC(changes the div3 code to a readable format), Quicktime Player, and some random codecs available online. Often I have to use the DivX Doctor feature in DivX Player, but that takes about an extra minute. And the movies play full screen great and fast.
And mpegs, well I have never had trouble playing those.

I think for Mac OSX you should use divX for X. It is great and fast.
