access control lists

I assume it is on a case-insensitive volume?
In Workgroup manager, go to Sharing, "all" tab, and select the volume, and tick the "Enable access control lists on this volume", save, exit.
sudo fsaclctl -p / -e
could work too but I think this enables it on client side.
