Hello, I have lurked for quite awhile around the forums. I finally ran in to a problem I couldn't figure out on my own or by searching previous articles.
As I said I have searched for this and came up with to many results. I sifted through them for a while and still did not find what I was looking for. I apologize if this is a repost.
I have a 1TB TimeCapsule and a Macbook Pro running Mac OS X V10.6.5.
I have decided not to use my TimeCapsule for time machine but instead as storage for my media. This way all my macs in the house can stream my media. It has been great but I want more!
Is it possible to access my media that I have stored on my TimeCapsule from a remote location (eg: At a friend or parents house)? I would want to access it on my macbook that I normally access it with but at a remote location.
I am not a beginner user by any means but I am far from an expert so any help or insight would be greatly appreciated. Please let me know if you need any more information.
