I have setup a Windows Small Business Server 2003 as a file server running File services for Macintosh with shares, etc.
There is a G4 and some other laptops, etc connecting to a switch. The server is hooked up to the switch as well. The mac users are accessing the windows file shares via smb. They are complaing that it takes forever to copy files from their local macs to the server. Most are graphic artsits and updating files constantly on the server. It takes over 30 minutes to copy 100mb.
I tried manually setting the nics to 100mb/full duplex, but no success in speed.
Any help would be great.
