Add printer (Epson CX5000) get error -9672

It appears many have this problem. Epson says it's a Mac problem.

Using Mac G4 with OS X Version 10.3.9

All Epson troubleshooting tried (three times).

What do I have to do? HELP!
 
Uninstall the driver.
Reinstall the correct driver from Epson site.
Repair permissions.
If it still happens, is it while you print, add the printer or at what point? When you get this error, if you have Console open, what happens there?
