Add Printer Model to Printer List Dropdown

Trying to use the Printer Setup Utility to add a printer on my home network, via IP. I have a Canon S750 printer. OS X v 10.3.9 on my iBook G4. At the bottom of that dialog box, you can choose the printer model = Canon, then it presents yet another dialog box with a list of Canon printer model #'s. However it doesn't list the S750.

I have installed the Canon S750 drivers so that it works perfectly when connected directly to my USB port.

Does anyone know how to update or expand the list of printers to choose from in this setup process?

Thanks for any help you can provide. Newbie to Mac here.

Thank you for that reply, and that did load the drivers.

What I forgot to mention is that I'm trying this using a Dlink wireless print server. That's probably the stopping point. I'm using the IP address of that server (it works fine with another XP wireless laptop on my home network).

I'll keep on trying....

Thank you for the reply. I am trying to communicate with the print server. I choose IP printing, enter the IP address of the Print Server, etc. But when I go to print, all I get is a message unable to connect to print server.

The network has a WEP key, as does the wireless print server (same key). The IP address of the print server is within the subnet of the wireless router for my home network. The print server came with software that runs on my Toshiba PC, but not the Apple. Once I ran that on the Toshiba, the printer was selectable (it named it something with Dlink in it), and it works fine wireless.
