Admin Rights

I have added admin rights to my account using Workgroup manager, I selected both administer the server and directory domain, but it still seems that I am unable to edit preferences and install software on client computers when I log in as myself, I still have to authenticate as Admin. Also when I log in as myself into workgroup manager, I am unable to administer share points.

Does anyone know why this is?
