administrators deleting administrators

I want to register myself as an administrator of a Mac OS X desktop but I want my kids to be able to download and initialize software. To do this they must be administrators but if they are administrators they can delete my access as another administrator.
How can I prevent this possibility and yet leave them free to download new software?

can't. well, they can install software into their user accounts and run them from there. but software that requires administrative access will have the effect you describe.

If you don't trust your children to use administrative privileges properly, then they should not have administrative privileges.
