Adobe bug?

When I am in Illustrator and/or Photoshop, if I happen to click on the desktop, my Finder seems to restart. All folders open on the desktop are gone.

A few questions:

--when did you last rebuild your desktop?
--do you have any disk utilities like Disk Warrior or Tech Tool Pro?

Your problem could simply be that you have a fragment in your directory block...

Did you run the Disk Utility from the Utilities folder and repair the permissions of your hard disk?

Try that and let us know... Also, are you using haxies or other apps that mess with your OS X installation in any ways?
