Adobe Illustrator Cannot Run?

:( I have no idea what's wrong with this, but, Adobe Illustrator is not working. When I try to load it I get a message "Adobe Illustrator cannot run". I uninstalled and reinstalled it and nothing. Does anyone else have this problem? Any ideas? :confused: I would like to use Illustrator again.

Oh, if this helps - This happened after installing the 10.1.2 update.
 
what version of AI are you using? i know when iupdated my atm i got errors but it still ran. i'm not sure if i have tried it lately. i will check and see if i am having problems. i am still using 5.:)
 
actually it is my pdf file that won't function but it runs in classic just fine. still out of sync adobe updates would be my first guess.
 
I get the same stupid error. I tried installing it on a fresh MAC OSX installation. I tried in on 10.0 and then on 10.1 and then on 10.1.1. Get same error. Guess I am stuck :(
