Ok. We have a small (10 PCs, 10 Macs) business network with a few servers that are windows based (wish i knew which versions etc.)
in jaguar, connecting to the windows servers thru afp was wonderful, fast, stable.
in panther, connecting to the windows servers thru afp sucks. royally.
in panther, connecting to the windows servers thru smb is great, until we need to copy fonts or similar data. the meta-data gets squarshed and all files turn to generic "exec" files. not an option, unless there is a specific configuration that will fix this.
thoughts? recommendations?
