Can anyone give me a hint on how to make it appear as your pounding some letters through
metal I've have some text in photoshop that looks as if it went through metal but a need to animate it I'm kind of new to After Effects
use masks of the shapes, shift them a little to give an illusion of depth as well as a inner shadow that fades in to give the illusion of increasing depth. Thats the easiest way, other than that... a 3D app and or a lot of free time.
