Age of Empires II and Civilization III error

Whenever I try and run Age of Empires II or Civilization III I get an error reading:
The path "OS 10.1:Applications:Civilization III" contains a

slash (/), backslash (\), or period (.). Please remove the character from the appropriate Folder's name and try again.

I don't get it. What's wrong with it. I don't see any of those symbols on the file names. Any ideas.

They sure are picky games...your disk is named OS 10.1 and it doesn't like the period there; just added one to my disk name, and AOE II had the same complaint.

Thanks alot! It worked like a charm. Now I can't seem to pull myself away from Civilization III. My wife has threatened to kill me. And I haven't even tried Age of Empires II yet. :)

Increase the happy meter in under domestic advisor and increase the number of troops garrisoned there by moving troops into the city.

Oh, I was hoping someone would be picking on a historical fallacy in the games they found particularly annoying. Nothing like a little pedantry for a Tuesday night.

You know, I tried that, but I cannot change some things in the advisor screens. I click on them and nothing happens. Even the things I can click on take minutes to work. For example, I click on government and it takes 45 seconds for the revolution window to open...

Am I missing some update? The CIV3 site is so out of date, it still says a MAC version is coming soon...

NO! I remember seeing news about an update but when I searched the sites I thought I saw it on, I couldn't find the link. I tried civ3.com and that's where I saw the "mac version coming soon..." statement.

Do you have a link to the update?

I don't have a link. I downloaded it from an IRC channel. If you like I could email it to you or get it to you some other way. Are you running OSX?
