Airport Acting Up

I opened my Powerbook last night and my Airport no longer logs into my router. When I do log in, it can't browse the internet. Other computers connected to the router can browse the internet. I rebooted several times with no success. The airport also hangs sometimes after turning it on forcing me to reboot and sometimes logging in takes an unusually long time. Any ideas what's going on with my computer or things to try to troubleshoot it?

Not that I really think it's related but prior to the problem I purchased a song on iTunes (using the airport) and while that was going on I got a message to update my iTunes so I did. The installation reached a certain point and then asked me to close iTunes so I did. When I was finished I closed my Powerbook, putting it to sleep.

Powerbook G4 1.33 GHz
1.25 GB RAM
OS 10.3.9

Thanks

To reset the Airport card takes a little adventure. Go to the folder /System/Library/Extensions/ and drag the files AppleAirport2.kext & AppleAirportFW.kext to the desktop (be logged out of Airport while doing this). Then you MUST restart right away. OS X will rebuild those files if they were not present (if it is running correctly). Then finally turn Airport back on.

If this fix does not hold drag those files back to the folder and restart. Lastly open System Preferences->Network and make sure you tun off IPv6 in your Airport configuration in Network. Good luck.
