Airport annoyance - ACL limit seems to be 25 devices

Is there a way to increase the amount of devices in the ACL list of the Airport Express?

The configuration is AP Express connected to DSL router via ethernet, AP giving the network to whole house. But whenever the access control list has 25 devices, I can't add anything else there. I haven't seen anything officially mentioning the ACL limits being 25 devices, but this isn't even the first time I run to this home. Every time I notice I can't add anything, it is magically 25.

When you have 6 stable users, with at least 1 computer each, a slingbox, psps, other wireless devices and work computers and desktop, and occasional visitors, the 25 devices is up often. Actually I don't even remember the last time I was able to add anything without removing something of someone else hoping they were not needing it at the moment.

Any suggestions how to get past this? Would the newer Airport Extremes have a tolerance for a bigger list?

I don't know if you are running up against a software limit or something else..
Maybe this has something to do with the maximum number of simultaneous wireless connections, which is 10 on the AP Express.
The _Extreme_ can do 50 simultaneous wireless connections. I would think the ACL list should at least support the maximum number of wireless connections, with some extra allowance for other devices.

Maybe someone with an Extreme could check this out? If the Extreme allows more ACL listings, then you might have a good excuse to trade up!

Not sure what the limit is on the new extreme, but if it's anything like the previous versions, it will have enough:

AirPort: Turning On Access Control
You can use the MAC Access Control Table in the AirPort Admin Utility to provide additional security for an AirPort Base Station.

Once you enter the first MAC address, Access Control becomes activated, there is no on/off switch. If you do not enter anything here, all clients will be permitted access. The number of addresses that you can add varies depending on which base station you have. By model:
AirPort Base Station (Graphite): 497
AirPort Base Station (Dual Ethernet): 300
AirPort Extreme Base Station: 500
AirPort Express: 25

Ah here we go. Excellent Eric...
I'll see if we have also an AP Extreme or can get one since that seems a bit more sensible solution than removing something every time we need to add anything.
