Airport Antenna Problem

I just replaced the hard drive on my iBook and in doing so i stripped the wire the connector that goes from the antenna to my airport card. I am wondering if I am going to have to buy a whole new antenna with connector or is it something that someone can simply soder back together. I have a guy who works on my guitars that is a whiz with a sodering iron. I just wasn't sure if that would fix the problem or not.

Hi there,

I too accidentally detached the antenna cord from the wireless card in my Powerbook. I can't find any info on how to fix it. Were you able to fix yours? If so, how?
