Ok I am so confused right now at work with this. There are 2 houses I want to connect right now. They are accross the street from eachother. What I want to do is create a WLAN. Here is the setup.

HOUSE 1. DSL to Apple Airport Basestation
House 2 . Another DSL line to Airport Basestation

I also have 2 linksys wap11 v2.2 access points. I was going to use them to bridge the 2 lans and make 1. So what I was thinking is......

DSL > AIRPORT > WAP11v2.2 --- WAP11v2.2 > AIRPORT > DSL

Is this possible? If so how do I connect the airport base stations to the wap11v2.2's and also how do i have this as a WLAN but the 2 houses use their own dsl for internet stuff. =/

It is possible to do this, but I'm not so sure as to how you would do it. I'll give you my setup to possibly help you create an idea. I have a Compaq wireless access point that dishes out the DHCP numbers. To connect to the Internet, I have a dialup router connected to a 56k modem, since Cable and DSL aren't available in my area. The Compaq and dialup router are connected via a static route. So if a computer wants to go online, you turn the devices on, the Compaq gives the computer an IP, the computer tells the Compaq it wants Internet, the Compaq goes through the static route to the dialup router which then tells the modem to dial out.

So possibly you can set the Linksys access points to be on the same IP range (192.168.245.xxx). By doing this they would be on the same subnet, and would then be able to communicate to each other easier. You could then create a static route to the Airport basestations. The Airport in one house might have an IP of 192.168.10.xxx and the other might be 192.168.11.xxx to keep them on a different subnet. The Airport in each house would then connect to their separate DSL connection.

That's one possibility and I'm not sure how well that would work. You might go to Google and do some digging because someone else has probably attempted what you are trying to do.
