I have a G4 Powerbook, and have recently bought an Airport Extreme wireless card and installed it. I have a BT Voyager 2100 Wireless ADSL Router 3 metres from my computer. The G4 cannot find it, and I don't understand why.
The router works (since a PC which is 20 metres away in another building) can find it.
And the Airport card works (it found another wireless network when I was in another office in London last week).
So why can't it find the router which is right next to it ?
I have followed the instructions in the manual - and am unable to set it up manually since I don't know what the router / DNS server numbers are. Anway, I'd be surprised if I had to set it up manually since it has proven to me that it can automatically find a wireless network.
Can you help ?
