Airport Express and non-Mac router

Being anything but a wireless aficionado, I'm wondering if it's possible to use a Trendnet TEW-432BRP wireless router to extend the range of my Airport Express. I've received one as a gift, and would like to make use of it. If anyone has any experience with this issue, I'd really appreciate some tips.

Thanks,

If you mean "extend the range" via WDS (Wireless Distribution System) then the answers is no.

However you can:
1. Connect the two devices with an ethernet cable.
2. Disable DHCP on one of the devices. (Access Point Mode)
3. Set both devices to use the same network name.

This will allow you to roam from one access point to the other without disruption.
